Juventus are planning to make the first move for the signature of in-demand Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.
Although de Ligt has been reportedly in contact with Barcelona but his wage demands are still an issue for Blaugrana.
However, reports have emerged that Juventus submitted a €85m bid for the Ajax captain.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus has a good chance of signing the young centre-back. Juventus have Chiellini and Bonucci both of whom don’t have many seasons left in their legs. They are looking at de Ligt to be their key defender in seasons to come.
Juventus might have made a bid for Matthijs de Ligt but Barcelona still remain favourite for his signature after having already signed Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.
Manchester United do not have Champions League to offer next season. While Bayern has already added Pavard and Hernandez in their defence in the summer. Liverpool has four options in the center of their defence and Klopp has high expectations from Joe Gomez.
The Ajax captain is yet to decide on his future and will only make a decision after Nations League final.
