Manchester City will be hosting Leicester in their next Premier League. A win will take them back to the top of the table ahead of Liverpool.

City managed to win against Burnley by 1-0 last time out. This time they face former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers Leicester. A game is expected to be fast paced with counters from both sides.

Leicester won their last game against Arsenal by 3-0 at home. Now, they will be travelling to Manchester looking for a result.

Form

Manchester City – WWWWW

Man City has won all of their past five games. They have been in great form since the turn of the year. They did however lost against Tottenham that cost them Champions League semi-final spot. Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling are enjoying the best season of their career.

Leicester – WWLDW

Leicester has been playing good football since Rodgers has been appointed. In the last game, they were brilliant against Arsenal and deserved their 3-0 victory. James Vardy has been in great form recently.

Kevin de Bruyne and Claudio Bravo are out injured. Benjamin Mendy and Fernandinho are doubtful for the game.

Leicester

Daniel Amartey is the only Leicester played out injured for the Manchester trip.

Possible Outcome

Leicester doesn’t have much to play for but Man City does. If they drop points here it might cost them the title. Liverpool has gone two points above Man City after beating Newcastle 3-2.

Manchester City will play to get their desired result and get back to the top of the Premier League. We expect them to win the game against Leicester but must watch out for the counter attacks from Foxes.
