Liverpool has reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League and is in the race for the Premier League title. Here we present the latest Liverpool transfer rumours from various sources this week.
Timo Werner is all set to leave Red Bull Leipzig this summer. The club’s chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff has admitted that Werner may be playing his final games for Leipzig.
It’s well known that we want to extend with him, but he’s signalled to us that he does not want to sign a new contract,’ Mintzlaff told Sky Sports.
‘We need to see what’s right for us and for Timo.’
Now according to the latest reports by Ian McGarry on Thursday, Liverpool are on the verge of agreeing personal terms with Timo Werner.
He said,” My information is Liverpool are very close to agreeing terms with Werner. Whether they win the title or not I think that’s something they will press ahead and recruit anyway.”
Werner is believed to cost around £43m. Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are believed to be interested in him as well.
According to Daily Mirror, Liverpool are ready to trigger the transfer clause for Brandt this summer. Julian Brandt is believed to have a transfer clause of just £21.5million – a tiny fee considering the calibre of the player and his potential.
Liverpool will face competition for Brandt from Juventus and Real Madrid. He was the first choice target for Jurgen Klopp before he went ahead and signed Mo Salah two summers ago.
According to reports from France via Le10 Sport, the Reds have made a formal enquiry to Lille for their starlet Nicolas Pepe.
According to the report, PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Inter Milan are all eyeing up moves for the talented attacker.
The Ivorian is valued around £70m by Lille. The talented youngster is capable of playing anywhere in the front three.
Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has spoken about the future of Thorgan Hazard and linked the Belgian with Liverpool.
“Thorgan has informed us that he doesn’t want to extend his contract and that he wants to leave the club in the summer to take the next step. I’ve heard this statement 15 times in the last 10 years as really great players have left us. That’s the way it is for us,” Gladbach boss Max Eberl told Sky Germany.
“We’ll have to see where his path will continue. I don’t know whether it will be at BVB, who are constantly being mentioned, or at Atlético Madrid, Liverpool or another club.”
“Interested parties have to offer us a transfer fee that recognises his worth as an exceptional Bundesliga forward and a regular feature in one of the best national teams in the world,” Eberl recently the club’s official website.
