IPL’s match number 26 will see Kolkata Knight Riders take on Delhi Capitals at Eden Gardens on Friday night.

Kolkata Knight Riders are coming into this game after a poor defeat against Chennai Super Kings. A batting collapse reduced Kolkata with a score of just 108 after 20 overs that was easily chased by Dhoni’s men.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, won their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rabada’s brilliant performance aided the team’s victory.

Knight Riders had a horrible batting collapse in their last game which left with just 108 on the scoreboard. Out of those 108, 50 was scored by their superstar of the season, Andre Russell. The West Indian has been ever-present for the Kolkata franchise this season, helping them win games single-handedly. Overall, they have been solid so far this season with their other defeat coming against Delhi in the super over.

Delhi franchise has won three of their six games so far. Their latest victory came against Royal Challengers Bangalore after impressive performances from Rabada and Shreyas Iyer. Although they have been inconsistent so far this season, some of the individuals have performed quite well. They need to find some consistency if they want to qualify for the next round.
