Sawai Mansingh has proved to be a fortress for Rajasthan Royals in the past, but they have lost two of their three games here so far this season. Last time out they were beaten by Kolkata Knight Riders who chased the target in just 13.5 overs.
Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, has won their last two games after their defeat at Wankhede to Mumbai Indians. They are on the top of the table after beating Kolkata Knight Riders whom they managed to restrict to 109 in 20 overs.
Rajasthan Royals – LLLWL
Rajasthan Royals has won just one match so far. That victory came against the team at the bottom of IPL’s point table this season, Royal Challengers Bangalore. They have had individual moments in all the four games they lost but collective team performance was not good enough.
Chennai Super Kings – WWLWW
Chennai has only lost one game so far in this season’s IPL. That defeat came against Mumbai Indians but since then the boys in yellow have responded with two wins. Last one coming against in-form Kolkata Knight Riders. They are at the top of the points table with their consistent performances.

Jos Buttler (RR)
Buttler will be Royals most important player. One of the most destructive batsmen in the cricket world. If he can get them a quick start then he can take the game away from Chennai’s bowlers. He has been due a big inning this season after his exploits in the last season. Expect some reverse sweeps against Chennai’s spinners.
Imran Tahir (CSK)
Imran Tahir is probably one of the most underrated bowlers in world cricket. Especially in the IPL. He has had some good past few seasons but still isn’t rated as highly as he should be. On a pitch like Jaipur’s which assists spin, Tahir will hold the key for Chennai. One spell and he can change the outcome of the game.
