According to reports, Manchester United’s Ander Herrera has agreed to a lucrative contract offer from Paris Saint-German.
Manchester United’s Spanish midfielder was a man in demand due to his expiring contract in the summer. Paris Saint-German is the team reported to have won the race to sign him in the summer.
According to the Times, he will move to Paris in summer on a three-year deal.
Herrera has been at Manchester United since joining the club from Athletic Bilbao in 2014. He has made 187 appearances for the Red Devils.
The 29-year old Spaniard will his €93,000 weekly wage increased to reportedly over €230,000 per week by moving to Parc des Princes in the summer.
Manchester United offered him a deal but both the parties couldn’t agree with the terms being offered. As a result, Herrera will leave for free when his contracts expire in the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is reportedly eyeing Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez as the replacement for Herrera.
Manchester United faces Barcelona in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-finals fixture.
Herrera’s signing will be a good business by the Tuchel’s side strengthening their midfield with Rabiot set to leave in the summer.
