Barcelona takes on Manchester United in the blockbuster clash of UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. The first leg will take place at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

Barcelona is coming back of a monumental 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in La Liga that gave them an 11 point lead at the top.

While Manchester United are coming into the game after losing their last game against Wolves in the Premier League by 2-1.

Form

Manchester United – WLLWL

United have lost three of their last five games. Two of those defeats came against Wolves once in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup. After being unbeaten under Ole for so long United are struggling for form at the moment.

Although, last time out in the Champions League they managed to overturn 2-0 home defeat against PSG by winning 3-1 away at Paris.

Barcelona – WWWDW

Barcelona has been in great form in recent weeks. But they did almost lose the game against Villareal before two late goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi rescued them a draw.

Barcelona has scored 20 goals in their last six games and had 10 shots on target against Atletico Madrid before scoring two late goals.

Injury/Suspensions

Manchester United

Alexis Sanchez will miss the game due to injury. Darmian and Valencia are also doubtful for the home side. United will welcome back Pogba from suspension for the Barca game.

Barcelona

Barcelona has no injury concerns, but only Rafinha who is a long-term absentee. Ousmane Dembele is also expected to be fit for the game on Wednesday night.

Although a win is still expected from Barcelona. Former Liverpool striker will be hungry for a goal at Old Trafford, Luis Suarez. Messi won’t be far away from the scoresheet either.
