Barcelona’s right-back Sergi Roberto believes La liga is not decided yet and Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid should be treated like a final.
Barcelona needed a late rescue act against Villareal on Tuesday after being 4-2 down with just a minute to go. Although they managed to draw the game thanks to late goals from their star strikers Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Sergi Roberto said
“We knew Atletico had won and we looked to get a point until the end, the point is good and we will play for it all on Saturday,” as quoted by Sport.
“We want LaLiga, then the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.
“Now it’s about LaLiga and against Atletico it will be a vital game, a final. If we get the win it will be very important for us.”
“[It was a] crazy game,” Roberto added.
“It seemed like it would be comfortable for us but they are fighting against relegation.
“At 4-2 down we went for it and we got a point.”
