According to the reports emerging, Manchester City could be facing a two-window transfer ban within the next few days. FIFA will reportedly ban Manchester City following allegations made on them regarding the transfer of minor players.
That’s according to one of the English media outlet, who is reporting that FIFA is expecting to announce results of their investigation on Man City soon. Reports say that Manchester City could be hit with a transfer similar to Chelsea’s.
According to the reports, a FIFA insider was quoted as saying,
“We have been investigating City as part of a long-term investigation.”
“We expect there will be an announcement on City, very similar to the one we made on Chelsea, in the next week or two. It is coming very soon.”
But that will not be all for the Cityzens.
Uefa, the FA and the Premier League all have an ongoing separate investigation against Manchester City. After the Football Leaks’ allegations that the club may have breached Financial Fair Play regulations.
Last month Chelsea became the latest club after Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid to be hit by a transfer ban.
