Manchester United have reportedly scouted PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn. The Red Devils were linked with the highly-rated winger in the January transfer window, but a move never materialised.
Manchester United are not the only big European team interested in the coveted winger, with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan also interested in the 21-year-old.
Bergwijn has 12 goals and 13 assists in 32 appearances for Eindhoven this season. He is rated at £30m in the report.
Federico Chiesa the son of former Italy striker Enrico Chiesa is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspurs, the Italian has has scored 11 goals in 29 games. Tottenham is facing intense competition for the signing of the 21 year old from the likes of Juventus and AC Milan.
Mauricio Pochettino has made Chiesa his No .1 target and is plotting to make a big-money move for him at the end of the season. Having not spend any money in the past two transfer windows Daniel Levy is ready to spend big next summer. Getting a player of Chiesa’s ability would be a big coup for spurs.
Tottenham are also liked to a move for Newcastle defender Fabian Schär, though they’ll face competition from Arsenal. Tottenham are also making plans for Hugo Lloris’s long-term replacement, Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is the one Spurs are looking at.
